The traditional French mountain village of Luz-St-Sauveur is on the doorstep of the Mont Perdu World Heritage Area. Situated half way between Lourdes (30kms) and Gavarnie, Luz is on the high route to Santiago de Compostella through Héas and Gavarnie.
Hotel 'Les Templiers', Luz St Sauveur.

Le Clos des Remparts, Luz St Sauveur.
Chambre d'hote and self catering accommodation close to the old centre of Luz. Parts of the building are thought to date back to medieval times. The main building has 4 large ensuite rooms to let on a Chambre d'hote basis. One of the rooms is a large family room. The walled garden with its sheltered planting and gurgling fountain contains a recently converted barn which provides self catering options for up to 7 people.
Les Artigaux, Val d'Azun.
Les Artigaux is a private estate set in five hectares of wooded parkland, with stunning mountain views of the Pyrénées. The holiday accommodation comprises a converted barn and four spacious apartments for parties ranging from 4-7 people. The high mountain spa village of Bareges is the gateway to the Neouvielle Nature Reserve (the Pyrenean lake district) and home to the highest thermal baths in France. The village nestles just beneath the famous Col du Tourmalet, with its ingrained Tour de France history, and the village's Winter pistes are part of the Tourmalet ski resort - the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees. Bareges is situated 8km East of Luz-St. Sauveur, at the foot of the spectacular Pic du Midi de Bigorre.
Plein Air Pyrenees, Lortet
"Plein Air Pyrenees" is a converted farmhouse in the department of the Haute Pyrenees, France, providing both family and group accommodation. The accommodation offers flexible catering accommodation, bar,activity room, secure cycle storage, spa and pool.
The farmhouse is set in two acres of land and situated on the edge of the rural village of Lortet in the Vallee D'Aure at an altitude of 600 metres. Lortet is 10 kilometres south of the market town of Lannemezan on the D929, the route to the Aragnouet - Bielsa tunnel and Spain.

Mountainbug specialises in guided walking and trekking, cycling, canyoning and multi activity holidays in the Summer, and downhill skiing (in the Tourmalet resort - the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees), snowshoeing and ski touring trips in the Winter. Accommodation is at 'Les Cailloux' (see above). All Mountainbug holidays use only qualified guides and instructors, allowing guests to benefit from local knowledge and to support the economy of the Pyrénées.
